Story

We are supporting Nerve Tumours UK because their mission means a great deal to us.

Nerve Tumours UK provides support and information, as well as campaigns and raises awareness on behalf of over 26,500 people in the UK who have the medical name for a set of genetic conditions that cause tumours to grow on nerve endings: Neurofibromatosis Type 1, NF2-related-Schwannomatosis, and Schwannomatosis.

These are genetic conditions, which means that they can be passed on in families from one generation to the next through genetic inheritance. Similarly, about half of nerve tumours cases recorded have no previous family history of the condition. In other words, it can occur totally “out of the blue”.

Nerve Tumours UK welcome input from all external organisations, teams and supporters. They provide specialist, age-appropriate support for children and teens, as well as adults. Nerve Tumours UK provide first class information, support and advice; facilitating and promoting innovative research, and being an advocate for those with NF.

Please help us bolster their support!
