Story
We’re a team from PwC’s Financial Due Diligence practice in Bristol and Cardiff, and we’re taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon together on the 5th of October in aid of Mental Health UK! Our team includes Lauren Fortune, Fliss Sargent, Frankie Lausen, Tom Ayerst, Seth Cunningham, Max Potter, Kieran Searle, Sam Chandler, and Steve Jones.
For many of us, this is more than just a race. It’s a chance to challenge ourselves, work as a team outside of the office, and raise money for a cause that really matters. At PwC, we believe in making a positive difference, not just through the work we do with our clients, but also in the wider communities we’re part of.
Training has meant early mornings, sore legs, and plenty of encouragement for each other along the way — a little different from the kind of marathons we’re used to (closing out deals rather than closing out miles!). But the real motivation is knowing that every mile we run will help support Mental Health UK.
Mental Health UK supports people affected by mental health problems across the UK. They provide vital advice, community services, and helplines, while also working to reduce stigma and improve access to support.
Your support will help fund services, resources, and campaigns that make a real difference to people’s lives — giving them the tools and support they need when they need it most.
We’d be hugely grateful if you could support us with a donation, no matter the size. Every contribution helps us get closer to our fundraising target and makes the effort worthwhile.
Thank you for helping us make an impact — both on the course in Cardiff, and beyond.
