Story
PLEASE NOTE: All costs associated with the trip including travel, accommodation and food are self funded and all proceeds will go to the project itself towards the costs of building and developing the school.
I am raising funds for the building and development of a new school in the Republic of Guinea
I will also be travelling to the Republic of Guinea with a team of volunteers from 22nd - 29th April 2024 to see, first-hand, the impact of the funds raised. As part of the visit, we will be holding a 10km Charity Challenge event, which will mimic the walk a child makes on a daily basis just to go to school.
The project needs your help in order to develop the site and with your proceeds the building can be completed and become operational in a short space of time.
Please donate generously. Thank you.
More information regarding the charity partners:
The Humanity First Knowledge for Life program builds new schools, upgrades existing ones, and furnishes computer labs. Our highly-ranked schools are safe and inclusive environments for all children. And Humanity First is committed to building schools in areas where there are none. In fact, our most recent schools in Liberia and Mali are the only ones in the area that are within several hours’ journey.
The Mercy4Mankind Charity Challenge is an annual campaign by AMYA UK which encourages its British Muslim youth members to fundraise for British causes and take part in the various events organised throughout the year. This is the first Charity Challenge that will be taking place abroad
All funds raised will be distributed to charity partners and officially supported charities to help them with their causes. AMYA UK does not take out any staff costs as all organisers are volunteers so 100% of the funds received will go towards the causes.
