The Quantum Development Finance team is taking on the Race the Sun challenge in the Lake District in September in support of Action Medical Research. Starting early and aiming to beat sun down, we will be cycling 34 miles on the "gently" undulating roads, hiking up 931m Skiddaw and then paddling two miles around Derwent Water in aid of this fantastic cause.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But they urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and they can’t do it without our help.
