Story
QE Sixth Form Staff & Students Sleep Out for the Homeless – Friday 20th November 2026
On Friday 20th November, staff and students from QE Sixth Form will be swapping their warm, comfortable beds for a night sleeping outdoors to raise vital funds and awareness for those experiencing homelessness.
Our message is simple:
“Sleeping out so others can sleep inside.”
For one night, we will experience a small part of the discomfort and challenges that many people experiencing homelessness face every day. We know that one night sleeping outside cannot truly reflect the reality of homelessness, but we hope our efforts will raise awareness, encourage compassion and make a real difference.
❤️ Why Your Support Matters
Homelessness can affect anyone. Job loss, family breakdown, financial difficulties, poor mental health and unexpected changes in circumstances can leave people without a safe place to call home.
Everyone deserves somewhere safe, warm and secure to sleep at night.
By supporting our Sleep Out, you will be helping a charity that works to support people experiencing homelessness. Homelessness charities provide vital services that can include:
🏠 Safe shelter and accommodation – helping people find somewhere warm and secure to stay.
🍲 Food and essential supplies – providing meals, warm clothing, sleeping bags and basic necessities.
❤️ Emotional and practical support – helping people rebuild their confidence, access services and get back on their feet.
🌟 Hope for a better future – supporting people towards stability, independence and a place to call home.
🙏 Please Support Us!
We are incredibly proud of our QE Sixth Form staff and students for coming together to support such an important cause.
Whether you can donate £1, £5, £10 or more, every contribution matters. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our fundraising page would mean so much to us.
