Story

At St Kentigern Hospice we celebrate survivor-ship and well being. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of our patients, enabling to live well with their condition. We achieve this by providing specialist palliative care in our 8 bedded inpatient unit and with a range of programmes and therapies tailor made to the patient's individual needs, all of which is offered within a safe and homely environment.

Qigong pronounced "chee gong" is an ancient Chinese practice which literally translated means "energy work or skill".

Rachael will gently guide you through breathing techniques, postures both standing and moving, stretchy and flowing with mental focus and intentions. Meaning that you'll be working body, mind and spirit.

All of which help transform stress in to vitality giving you more energy to do the things you enjoy!

No equipment or previous experience is required, and Qigong is suitable for all.

Thanks, Rach x
