To fundraise at Queen Mary’s College Social Action week, our group has decided to participate in activities such as Running, Walking, Swimming, Horse Riding and Cycling for Mind UK. 1/4 people have mental health issues, and it is particularly prevalent in our age group. Physical activities have a very positive effect on both your physical health and mental health, which is why it is so important for us and our chosen charity.
We will collectively be doing a minimum of 130973 steps (or the equivalent) to represent the 130974 queries that were answered by Mind UK in 2022 to 2023 by helplines. Mind offers help through information, advise and local services, which you can access via mind.org.uk
