Queen’s Musical Theatre Society is proud to be supporting the Marathon180 fundraising efforts by Queen’s University Belfast by fielding a relay team in the 2026 Belfast City Marathon. Our team of 5 is made up of QUB Students from across a range of Schools and degrees all with the passion for musical theatre - and now running!!

From medical breakthroughs and improving cancer care, to protecting the online security of internet users and transforming the education sector in Northern Ireland, Queen's has touched the lives of thousands of people every day, over the last 180 years.

As part of the University's continued celebration of its 180th Anniversary, 180 QUB runners will run this year’s Belfast City Marathon relay, fundraising for two key University causes - Student Mental Health Initiatives and Queen's Medical Research.

Across 36 relay teams, students, staff and alumni will run in aid of the Queen's Foundation, to support these amazing causes.
