Story

We’re proud to be supporting Blythe House Hospice once again through our Quarry Spin‑Off challenge 🚴‍♂️💪. Last year’s event was a huge success, bringing together CEMEX, Breedon and Tarmac for a day full of energy, teamwork and friendly rivalry — all in support of a charity that makes an incredible difference in our local community.

Thanks to everyone’s effort, enthusiasm and generosity, we raised £1,222.78 across the three quarries and covered an impressive 3,062.2 km combined 🌍. CEMEX topped the leaderboard with 1,364.9 km, and this year we’re aiming to push even further.

🎯 Our 2026 challenge:

Beat last year’s fundraising total AND last year’s distance.

Every kilometre counts. Every donation helps. Every bit of support gets us closer.

We’re doing all this for Blythe House Hospice, a charity that provides vital care and support for people and families across North Derbyshire who are facing life‑limiting illness ❤️. Their 24/7 Hospice at Home and overnight Roaming Car services allow patients to receive high‑quality end‑of‑life care in the comfort of their own homes. At the hospice, patients and families can access specialist outpatient clinics, physio and occupational therapy, complementary therapies, nursing support, and 1:1 counselling for adults, children and young people.

Your donation helps Blythe House continue offering this compassionate, expert care to those who need it most 🙏. Whether you’re supporting a team, cheering on a colleague, or simply backing a great cause, thank you — it truly makes a difference.
