Queer Book Swap Mcr is a book swap event founded by Soph, a queer, Black Country born and bred creative living in Manchester. The aim of the event is to bring book lovers together, to enable community building for queer folks in and around Manchester, and to raise funds for local LGBTQ+ charities in the process

The LGBT Foundation is a national charity delivering advice, support and information services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities since 1975.

Based in Manchester and with a focus on health and wellbeing, they provide essential services to local LGBTQ+ communities across the UK and have been working to spread queer hope and joy, to reduce isolation, to help people feel more confident and in control of their lives, and to enable people to flourish.
