Story

The Masjid of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a centre for the world, not just for learning but also for community service catering for the homeless, poor and needy.

We have now secured planning permission to launch an exciting new project. The establishment of Luton's first Madinah - a community centre which will facilitate youth engagement, social services and support, education, dialogue between the towns diverse communities and collaborating in good.

Team Madinah aims to raise funds for the new centre and involve everyone in the town in making this vision a reality.

Please support our effort to raise money for this wonderful project. We will be doing a 24 hour Quran challenge. The aim is to try and complete the whole Quran in 24 hours. We are doing this to get the ajr of reciting the Qur’an, whilst also promoting the Madinah centre project. The recitation of the Qur’an is not being used here for money; rather this is an activity to promote recitation of the Quran, whilst also using online platforms to raise funds for the expansion of our masjid.
