In memory of Anna

Baton of Hope 2025 · 20 September 2025

We have a vision of a society where suicide and suicide prevention are openly and widely discussed, where we inspire hope through action, where people are suitably supported and where everyone plays their part in realising this vision

Story

Join Me in Passing On Hope

This year, our community proudly stands united as part of the Baton of Hope Tour 2025 - a powerful national movement shining a light on suicide prevention. We come together to remember Anna, and all those whose lives have been touched by suicide.

The Baton of Hope is more than just a symbol - it’s a beacon of resilience, solidarity, and change. As the UK’s biggest suicide prevention initiative, it will travel to 20 locations across the country, passed from hand to hand—each person carrying a story, a memory, a message of hope.

I’m honoured to be one of the Baton Bearers. Like so many others, I carry it for everyone who has faced the darkness and for those we've lost.

To continue its vital work, the Baton of Hope Charity needs funding - and I am raising money to help ensure that no one feels alone in their struggle.

Here at Sponne, we are proud to be part of a growing movement striving for a zero-suicide society. In partnership with Kelly’s Heroes and the Baton of Hope team, we envision a future where suicide is no longer hidden in silence - a future where people feel supported, empowered, and heard.

This incredible charity offers life-saving support and relies on public donations to continue its work. Every single contribution - no matter how small - helps to spread hope, create change, and save lives.

Your support can light the way forward.

Together, let’s carry the baton of compassion, inspire meaningful change, and build a world where hope always finds a way.
