Nearly 25 years ago, I joined the SKLPC Cricket Club, our beloved community cricket team, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to significant changes within the club, and today, I am honoured to serve as the Club Chairman.

My cricket journey began at the tender age of 8, where I had the privilege to play and captain Middlesex County at various junior levels. Reflecting on my journey, I feel incredibly fortunate to have applied my skills and passion for cricket as a junior. Now, I have the unique opportunity to apply my learnings to the next generation, and make a significant difference for the children of today and the future, at my community club..

SKLPCCC has grown remarkably from its modest beginnings. Today, we compete in the Middlesex County Cricket Leagues, proudly boasting five senior sides and a Juniors Academy with around 70 children. Our ambition is to continue this growth, expand our junior teams, and establish a SKLPCCC Women’s teams.

2025 sees the club celebrate its 40th anniversary, and we’ve decided to take on a monumental challenge – the National 3 Peaks Challenge.

Within 24 hours, around 70 participants, including myself, will be tackling the three highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales from 25th to 27th April. The primary goal of this challenge is to raise funds for our iconic ‘India Gardens’ Project, a venture that promises to create a lasting legacy for our community and cricket club.

The India Gardens Project is set to be a state-of-the-art complex, featuring four-team changing facilities, indoor cricket training nets, and, most importantly, a second cricket pitch. These developments will significantly support our current and future ambitions.
