Raccortubi UK fundraiser for UCAN

Andy Troup is raising money for UCAN
We are a local urological cancer charity set up to raise awareness & support patients & families at our Care Centre in Ward 209, ARI. We are fundraising to raise £2.5M to open a SURE Unit at ARI (formerly RDC). Urological cancers are some of the most curable cancers if detected early enough.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving Page.

During the month of June, We (the team at Raccortubi UK) will be helping to raise vital funds for UCAN by cycling the miles from our Head Office in Milan Italy to our Office in Aberdeen a total of 1320 Miles.

We intend to do this with some of the staff cycling to work and others taking part by exercise bikes we have set up in our Mezzanine area within the warehouse at RTUK.

1 in 5 men in North Scotland will be diagnosed with Urological Cancer

1 in 3 men with prostate cancers in Scotland are diagnosed too late with advanced cancer that can no longer be cured.

1500 men & women in the North of Scotland are diagnosed with a urological cancer every year (and sadly 500 will Die).

SHOCKING STATISTICS!

The main objectives is to raise awareness within men and women to get checked for urological cancer, and help the "SURE" unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) to achieve a faster diagnosis, faster treatments, and better outcomes for everyone.

We would love your support to help raise awareness and funds so we can support the great work UCAN are doing.

Please give what you can and support us along the way.

We will have daily updates on our social media platforms of our progress.
