Story
At the end of 2018, my wonderful mum received the news that she has non-Hodgkins lymphoma. This shook our close family to its core. None of us were prepared for the endless tests, treatments, side effects, appointments that mum would need to go through… yet we also felt so incredibly lucky that she COULD go through it all. And she still does.
I myself, along all her friends and family, have been in total awe of how she has taken on this disease with positively and openness. She’s a bloody marvel. I pinch myself on a very routine basis at how well she is looking thanks to recent successful treatment, yet I also know what she’s had to endure to get here…
We feel so grateful for all the care and support mum has received over the years, that my sister, Gilly, and I are going to walk the bridges of London in May to raise funds for the wonderful charity Lymphoma Action.
Every day in the UK 55 people are given the life changing diagnosis of Lymphoma. With your help we can give them vital information and emotional support when they need it most. Thank you for helping make sure no-one faces Lymphoma alone.
