Stride for Stroke 2025 · 9 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

We're asking you to Stride for Stroke, one step for each of the 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.4 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 140 days. Take on the challenge today!

Story

After 3 months of uncertainty we found out Mam died of of a Stroke.

I want to raise some money to raise awareness of Strokes and to help fund vital research into Stroke prevention. It's not going to bring Mam back but it makes me feel like I am doing something so others might not go through what we did in August and for those 3 months of not knowing.

My challenge is to do 1,400,000 steps in 140 days, which works out on average 10000 a day. Sounds easy but when I work from home I am barely getting 3k steps at the minute so I am going to have to go for extra walks to get the old steps up!

I start on 1st March and 140 days takes it to 18th July!
