Story
This is the 24th Grimsby Bikeathon, it is the ideal day out for cyclists and their families.
My Brother in law Paul and I are participating in the Grimsby Bikethon again this year. This is a charity that means a lot to us both so we would be very grateful for any donations, large or small to help us reach our target. We will once again be challenging (or rather I not being a cyclist) ourselves to ride the 28 mile route.
It is suitable for all ages with a choice of 3 routes 10, 15 and 28 miles, all routes use quiet lanes to cover one of the most interesting parts of the Lincolnshire Wolds where the magnificent post glacial landscape offers an ideal cycling experience. There is also a BBQ afterwards.
Participants return year after year to enjoy the environment, the buzz and camaraderie of the event and overall to support Blood Cancer UK.
