Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND
Back in 2016, we lost my wonderful dad to MND. Watching someone you love die from this cruel condition is truly heartbreaking. He lost his mobility and speech, becoming trapped in his own brain with a body that could no longer function, losing all pride and dignity.
My dad was a fighter, living every day with a smile and determination. Watching him navigate and fight this awful condition taught me that I can also do hard things with determination and perseverance. MND is the cruelest way to watch someone die, and there’s still no cure.
Back in 2026, I ran the London Marathon, all 26.2 long miles. 2027 will see me run this again, but this time I’m doing the long, hard winter training with MND and my dad’s memory pushing me through.
