Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

The 'Hilton Hikers' are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge! 31 team members from The Hilton Birmingham Metropole will be attempting to complete this 24 mile hike, scaling the 3 biggest peaks in Yorkshire within 12 hours. There will be pain, there will be blisters...but we are raising money for our chosen charity, Newlands Bishop Farm.

Part of the Family Care Trust, Newlands Bishop Farm gives people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions the opportunity to learn work-based skills. This is provided through unique work experiences in horticulture, woodwork, gardening, horse care, catering and retail and animal husbandry. We are currently hosting a number of work placements at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Funds raised will go towards their Canteen and Activity Centre Big Build Project and the development of this scheme, which will make a massive difference to adults with learning disabilities in and around Solihull.
