Peak the Reek 2026
Campaign by Fréa (RCN 1197939)
After conquering Croagh Patrick in 2025, members of the Women of Irish Heritage (WIH) Professional Network are returning to Ireland this September to take on a new challenge, climbing Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland.

Story

In 2025 I signed up to the first Peak the Reek challenge. However, just a couple of weeks beforehand, I had to undergo some emergency spinal surgery. At the eleventh hour my amazing cousin Geraldine stepped in to walk in my place. And this year, we’re planning are hoping (and doing the physio) to climb together.

As Chair of Leeds Irish Health and Homes, one of the three Fréa partners I see first hand the work the organisations do to help people when they are at a vulnerable time in their lives.

In September I will be travelling to Co. Down, Ireland to climb Slieve Donard, the highest mountain in Ulster.

Please support me through a sponsorship or a donation if you can.
