I see firsthand in my working life, the touching impact Age UK Hertfordshire have on people every day. Their 10-3 clubs and befriending services create space for connection, reducing loneliness and isolation; their hospital and community navigators providing much needed support at at time of ill health; information and advice linking people with the right support; and working in partnership with other charities and social enterprises creating Hertswise, a Dementia support service. Hertswise run with and one to one support with their Dementia Hubs and Carer Peer Support Service, as well as providing training and workshops.
