Like many children, I love running! I love even more to see children happily running around. But not all children have a safe place to run and play, or even to sleep soundly, or a nutritious diet to give them energy, in short an environment in which they can thrive.

UNICEF was set up precisely because of this. Across the world, UNICEF is working to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfil their potential. And today it is in urgent need of funds. You will, in particular, be aware of war zones where children are suffering and where UNICEF is operating.

This is why I’m using an opportunity I've been given to run the London marathon this year to fundraise for UNICEF. Please join me in this endeavour to support UNICEF. Anything you donate will make a difference to a child/children somewhere.
