Joel and his mum, Laura were part of our own journey, and both of them made our time on ward E39 at QMC that bit easier. Joel was just one of those children that was a pure delight to know and now knowing Laura, it’s not at all surprising why. He fought and he battled, and now Laura and her family have to continue battling as they find a way to live each moment without him.
