Ghettos in Uganda are known to be places of deep despair and hopelessness fueled by a vicious cycle of poverty. With unfathomable unemployment rates, many turn to crime to survive; the young learning from the old and passing down the culture and narrative. Ghettos have earned a reputation as fishing places for juvenile prisons; even the innocent are easily caught up in the crossfires of police raids as long as they are found in these communities which for many are simply Home.

We will be holding a four-hour praise party dubbed ‘Ghetto in Praise’ to prophetically declare the redemption that is in Christ for even these that Society has written off as we raise funds for Festival Bombo.

Festival Bombo will not only reach thousands of young with the Christian message of hope, but it will also help launch The Message Uganda permanent hub.
