Story
Rachel and Tom are taking on the challenge of cycling almost 200 miles and 15,000 feet of climbing in 3 consecutive days to raise well deserved and needed funds for Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.
Specifically we are raising money for Lowen Ward, The Headland Unit and The Sunrise Centre.
Rachel's Dad (Roger) was diagnosed suddenly with advanced and aggressive cancer and passed away only 6 weeks after his diagnosis. The team at Treliske Hospital worked incredibly hard to support Roger and his family and cared for him with dignity and respect throughout his diagnosis, treatment and in end of life.
Roger was a proud Cornishman so this challenge seems like a fitting way to honour him cycling around his beloved Cornwall and raising funds to allow Lowen Ward, The Headland Unit and The Sunrise Centre to continue providing the incredible care that is needed in these difficult circumstances.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference.
Thank you.
