Ocean Stars is a UK based charity which aims to provide educational opportunities to pre school aged children in eastern Sri Lanka as well as helping communities and teachers. The charity supports and sponsors pre school aged children and teachers to ensure that they get the best educational opportunities and experiences as possible in some of the poorest and most remote areas of eastern and northern Sri Lanka.

The charity was set up in 2005 following the devastating effects of the Boxing Day tsunami and now sponsors around 25 pre schools across the island.
