Story
In memory of my husband Tim Silcock who sadly lost his life to renal cell cancer in September 25.
In April 23, he ran the London Marathon after loosing his best friend Nick Ransford to bowel cancer for MacMillan raising over £10000.
Once diagnosed with his own cancer he continued fundraising by organising a music festival on our family farm raising another £15000 within the last few months of his own life.
I’m running to try and continue his legacy. I’m a fairly experienced runner, but training this winter will be so much harder without his support.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.
That's why Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
