Story
I was recently inspired by Harriet Wistrich's 'Desert Island Discs' episode. She founded the 'Centre for Women's Justice' in 2016.
The charity's vision is for us to live in a society where all state institutions work to end male violence against women and girls, and hold these powerful institutions to account.
Sadly, most of us know at least one of these women.
The passion I heard from Harriet talking about her work, and from reading about the charity since reassured me that any donation you are kind enough to spare will be used to put real action into day to day practice.
I have been running over 20 miles a week for a few months now in training for this marathon. It is hard going, but knowing I am doing it to raise money for our daughters, sisters, mothers and friends will make it worthwhile.
