This August, we’re taking part in the Run the Runway event at Inverness Airport to raise funds and awareness for Maggie’s Highland, based at Raigmore in Inverness.

I feel truly touched that the girls have chosen to join me for this event as I celebrate 10 years in the clear. Although I didn’t know them when I was diagnosed in 2016, their support is a reminder of just how important friendship, encouragement and kindness are in helping us through life’s highs and lows.

A cancer diagnosis can be life-changing. Maggie’s is there to support you and your family when you need it most—whatever type of cancer, and whatever stage you are at.

Any donation, big or small, is hugely appreciated and will make running in the dark at midnight all the more worthwhile.
