I am planning to run the Loch Rannoch Half Marathon on the 13th of October and will be fundraising for Ballumbie Hedgehog Rescue. This will be the furthest I have ever ran, and a big achievement since I have only been running for just over 4 months. Ballumbie Hedgehog Rescue rehabilitates and releases sick and injured hedgehogs in and around Dundee. It’s a small rescue run by Dawn and her volunteers. Donations would go towards paying for vets bills and medication, food and the running costs of the rescue. Through volunteering there myself, I have seen countless hedgehogs nursed back to health and released back into the wild.
