Story
There are few things that could inspire us to put on Lycra, brave the cold, rain, wind and bruises, and haul ourselves up and down hills to train for (and hopefully complete!) an endurance cycle of 300km in 24 hours.
But Duchenne UK is an exceptional charity that really is changing lives for the better.
Rachel didn’t have a bike until February and Celyn last did the Dash 10 years ago, but our challenge is nothing compared to those whose lives are impacted by this devastating diagnosis.
Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a devastating and terminal muscle-wasting disease diagnosed in childhood. Currently, there is no cure, but Duchenne UK is working tirelessly to fund vital research and accelerate the development of treatments. Duchenne UK was co-founded by our close friend Emily after her son Eli was diagnosed with DMD.
Please help Duchenne UK to change lives and end Duchenne.
