Story

Hi everyone!!

Thanks so much for checking this out. As many of you know, I am the proud owner of an ever growing flock of gorgeous hennies. I've always rehomed my girls from the fabulous British Hen Welfare Trust who do the most amazing job at giving poor hens born in the commercial sector a second chance at a life outdoors, as it should be.

They describe themselves far better than I ever could (see below), but i have first hand experience of how passionate and kind the people at the heart of this charity are, and the amazing work they do:

'Since 2005, the British Hen Welfare Trust (BHWT) has been rehoming commercial laying hens destined for slaughter. With more than 1,400 volunteers and 50 rehoming sites around the UK, they rehome tens of thousands of hens every year – the charity’s millionth hen even went to live with His Majesty the King.'

In offering whatever you can to support me as I run the longest run I've done so far 🙈, you are helping this charity to continue their lifesaving work, improve welfare conditions for ALL laying hens, and inspire the next generation of hen keepers. Let's join together to help more of these wonderful, clever and funny birds live happier, healthier lives.

Thank you so so much from me and all the lovely hennies out there 🥰🐔
