Story
I would like to invite people to come and visit me at my home in Bushey and learn more about My Yard, to see our wonderful Gro Up project and learn about all the activities we offer at My Yard.
I really hate fundraising and My Yard has never done that much, but this Decemember I would love to connect with anyone who would like to learn more about My Yard. We have created a beautiful festive grotta and you can try some of the jams made by produce on the allotment.
If you want to volunteer and help that would be incredible. If you would like to make a donation this is the place ;-). Its really pretty here so dress up so you can take a photo to remember and if you feel like it celebrate your visit and spread the word of My Yard.

What started as an initiative to share surplus food and build connections in the community, grown into a powerful force for good reaching over 300 households a week.
My Yard has been active in Harrow, Barnet and Bushey where its mission to tackle isolation has seen it lead activities from street art to tea parties and starting its very own community garden. Food remains central to what it does, takes unused food from restaurants, grocers and hotels and puts it in the hands of people who can use it. “It’s about reaching out to people and using food as a tool”.
