Cycling mountain climb challenge · 28 July 2024

At Llamau we're daring to imagine a world without homelessness. But for thousands of young people, women, and families in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality. Your donation will help Llamau to provide life changing support to the most vulnerable people in Wales.

Story

Having cycled up Mont Ventoux in August 2023, and Alpe d'Huez in June 2024, brothers Tobias (aged 10) and James (aged 8) are planning to complete the hat-trick of iconic French climbs in 12 months by tackling the Tourmalet on 28th July 2024.

To celebrate their achievement, they have decided they would like to raise money for a good cause in the process.

Due to living in a city, Tobias and James frequently interact with people affected by homelessness and are always keen to try to help those less fortunate than themselves. Both their parents work with disadvantaged people and understand the importance of supporting these individuals. As such, the boys have decided that they would like to raise money for Llamau.

Llamau do really important work helping homeless young people and vulnerable women across Wales with accommodation, support and prevention.

Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause in acknowledgement of the boy's tenacity and hard-work, taking on these three mountains that most adults would struggle to cycle up.
