OMG I actually have a place in the London Marathon 2026! This has always been on my bucket list and, oh my word, I am scared! As you know running does not come easy for me but I can do this with your support!

The chosen charity I am fundraising for is HFT which is an amazing small charity. Hft’s vision is to create a future where learning disabled people can live the best life possible, in a kind and inclusive community. ​

As many of you know, my first job when I was 16 was supporting people with a learning disability, I still continue to work with people with a learning disability now 24 years on in my job as a nurse in Leicestershire primary care.

Hft's mission is providing personalised support, creating solutions for living independently, coming together to campaign for positive change and fundraising for new opportunities and a bigger impact. ​ ​
