Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m taking part in The Lily Mae Foundation’s challenge, to walk 60 miles throughout the month of February. I’m doing this in memory of our baby we lost to trisomy 13 in March 2024, and to honour two miscarriages we’ve had since then 💔👼🏼

The support I received from The Lily Mae foundation after our loss was invaluable, and made a real difference to my grief journey, in what was an incredibly isolating time.

I’m hoping to raise a minimum of £90, which will cover the cost of a memory box for a bereaved family. However, any money raised will be greatly received and will go a long way in supporting families after a miscarriage, stillbirth, medical termination or neonatal death.

⭐️ £60 will provide a one to one support session for a bereaved parent.

⭐️ £50 will provide a place for bereaved parents on a counselling support day.

⭐️ £25 provides a sibling pack to bereaved siblings.

⭐️ £5 provides a space for a mother and baby at a rainbow support group.

Thank you in advance for any donations 🙏🏻 ❤️

I will be posting my progress throughout the month! 60 miles might not seem a lot but I haven’t actively exercised since our second loss in October so I’m hoping this challenge gives me the motivation to get moving again! 🤞🏻🚶‍♀️
