Hay Castle Is an arts and culture focused historic monument set-up to preserve the, building, the heritage and protect the legacy of the castle for future generations. The Castle endeavors to provide interesting events, activities and a beautiful open space for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.

Story

A new defibrillator accessible to the public 24hrs per day located on the back fold mounted on the castle wall - electricity supplied by The Castle.

Since opening, Hay Castle has welcomed over 100,000 visitors which is great news! With this in mind we would like to offer the quickest possible response during a medical emergency.

Black Mountain Lions Club have kindly donated £500 to give us a head start however we need further funds to complete the project. £1500 would provide enough to buy the defibrillator and the necessary temperature controlled casing.

The reassurance of a defibrillator close-to-hand would be peace of mind for those at the castle and anyone who might need it around the town.

Situated on the Backfold equidistant between ones already located at the Library and the Clock Tower. The new defibrillator it would be accessible 24hrs a day and available for anyone who might need it, the castle would provide the necessary power and installation.

We would greatly appreciate your support lets hope we never need it.
