Andy and I are running the 10k in May for Prevent Breast Cancer as we were inspired to do so by our good friend Rachel. She is also running. The charity is very close to her heart. Rachel had a preventive mastectomy some years ago, a life changing surgery for her and many others, I don’t like to imagine a world where that had not been an available option for our friend. For those of you that know my friend Rachel, you know she is one in a million, would and does do anything she can to help wherever she can. We are honoured to support a charity that aims to make breast cancer a preventable disease. Imagine being able to say that. We know times are tough for most people at the moment but any sponsorships would be hugely appreciated…… I still hate running and Andy still loves it, so it will be interesting to see how we fare on the day.

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity funding ground-breaking research solely aimed at preventing breast cancer for future generations. Our research will one day bring about a world where breast cancer is preventable and thousands are saved from ever experiencing this terrible disease.
