I’m raising money to make sure music education across Sheffield is for everyone. As a music educator, I’ve seen first hand how music can change lives. Unfortunately, rising costs are making this more and more difficult. Currently, Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub fully fund places in our music groups for children from low-income families.

For 2026/27, a child’s music group place will cost £250. This provides a valuable opportunity for aspiring musicians to develop their talents across year-round music groups. To help ensure we can support as many families as possible this year, I’m dusting off my running shoes and running the Sheffield 10K! As someone used to the comfort of concert halls, running’s not something I find easy . . . so I’m definitely expecting a challenge! I really do appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small - it will definitely spur me on to keep training 🙏🏻
