On December the 1st I will be dressing up as an Elf and taking part in the Mental Elf run at Peel Park in Salford (I was unable to attend the Lancashire event sadly)

I will be running in memory of my good friend Andrea Walne (who I know will have laughed at my elf costume). Andrea has been there for me at times when i was at my lowest and I would like to do this to celebrate her life and how important she was to me, and others. Andrea was also there for me week after week telling her how fast I “ran this week” with a never ending supply of encouragement! so I know she would love this and would be waiting to hear how fast I went!

Mental health is such an important part of people’s lives nowadays so I think its nice to raise awareness of this cause and the help that’s out there for people.
