Story
Along with Nick and my amazing supportive friends Becky & Kev, on the 17th May, we will be completing a 26mile trek around London for Alzheimer's Society.
Watching my lovely dad's Alzheimer's progress over the last 4 years has been unbelievably difficult. As he now enters a new stage of this cruel disease, it is absolutely heartbreaking. We feel completely helpless as there is nothing we can do to help him. The only way to feel like I am doing something useful, even if small, is trying to raise a little money for dementia charities. I know that times are tough and so many of you have kindly donated to my dementia fundraising before, but if you can spare any money for this very worthy cause, I would be so very grateful.
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
