🧗♀️ I’m Taking the Leap for Our Hospice Heroes!
Hi everyone,
I’m taking on a charity abseil in Saturday 26th July at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral to raise vital funds for our local hospice – and I’m doing it in honour of every single person who makes it the incredible place it is.
This isn’t just about facing a fear or ticking something off the bucket list. It’s about giving back to a place that gives so much – not just to patients, but to families, friends, and the whole community.
When people think of a hospice, they often picture the doctors and nurses – and while they’re absolutely amazing, there’s a whole team of unsung heroes behind the scenes:
• 🧑⚕️ Doctors & Nurses delivering compassionate care every single day
• 🧹 Domestic Staff keeping everything spotless and safe
• 💻 Clerical Teams making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes
• 💙 Fundraising Teams working tirelessly to keep services going
• 🛍️ Charity Shop Volunteers & Staff helping to raise essential funds
• 🌿 Wellbeing Centre & Outpatient Teams offering comfort, therapies and ongoing support
This challenge is for every single person who gives their time, energy, and heart to make the hospice a place of dignity, comfort, and love.
