Story
Living in a rural area as we do, we both recognise the importance of a local hospice for our community that can have such an impact on peoples lives
This year, we are joining a wonderful group of people including fellow equestrians who have all been persuaded to swap 4 legs for their own two, to complete The Big Hike on May 17th and raise much needed funds for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
Tynedale Hospice at Home not only provides palliative care in the home, but also supports the community with a fantastic transport service for hospital appointments, a dementia support service and a bereavement support service.
Unfortunately. most people don't really think of hospices until they need them and as i didn't. have no idea on the difference they make to patients and their families at a very difficult and stressful time.
Every penny counts - please support us if you can - we are very grateful!
