Story
Ellie is taking on an incredible challenge to raise money for Diabetes UK.
She’s set herself the goal of running the equivalent of a half marathon in a truly unique way—by completing 2km every hour, on the hour, for 11 hours straight! Starting at 7am and finishing at 5pm, this will be a long and demanding day, but Ellie is determined to see it through.
She plans to take on this challenge during the Easter holidays on Tuesday 14th April, pushing herself both physically and mentally to achieve something amazing.
This cause is especially close to Ellie’s heart. Her dad, Mark, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was just 2 years old. Since then, Ellie has been passionate about supporting those living with diabetes and helping to make a difference.
By taking on this challenge, Ellie hopes to raise vital funds to support the important work of Diabetes UK and improve the lives of people affected by diabetes.
Any support you can give would mean the world—thank you for helping Ellie make a difference!
