London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The London Irish Centre is incredibly excited to be taking part in the London Marathon for the very first time in 2026! Money raised by running for Team LIC will go towards supporting our work, fostering community connection and enriching lives.

Story

Irish girl, Irish Housemates, Irish colleagues, Irish company. How do I make this more stereotypical I'm running London Marathon for London Irish Centre this April 2026.

Many of us know of the London Irish centre for a Full Irish, roast dinner, Clonakilty black pudding. We know it for its Kingfishr concerts, events as Gaeilge, pints and taytos.

Beyond this, London Irish Centre was established in the 1950s to provide accommodation and support to newly arrived Irish migrants. They’re the largest Irish community charity in Britain and the first place that Irish people in London turn to for support.

They provide community services, such as their Befriending Service addressing loneliness and isolation or their Advice & Support service addressing homelessness and mental health issues, to vulnerable clients, alongside a strong cultural and heritage offer which keeps people connected.

Any support greatly appreciated!
