Peer Support is at the heart of what we do. Our volunteers are former patients or have a family member with a

spinal injury. These Peer Supporters use their own experience of a spinal injury in a meaningful and positive way by drawing on their own personal experience of recovery to help others going through a difficult rehabilitation by offering empathy and understanding, and by encouraging the development of mutual support

relationships.
