Story
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
Last September our happy young Ned (my nephew) now 13 was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The journey for Ned and the family has been super tough with many hurdles to overcome. Ned is such a kind and gentle soul and we are in awe of his bravery.
The family is incredibly grateful for all the care and treatments Ned has received until today and It’s a really sensitive time whilst healing from the Chemotherapy.
Raising funds together can continue to add to money available for the incredibly worthy efforts made from the charity to support children and families affected by this overwhelming disease.
We are extremely grateful for any contributions and I’m giving the cause some effort and focus which is Ned’s style.
Down the line there will be a coffee morning and I’m sure something hippy related ❤️
Thank you ! thank you 🙏
