Rachel's fundraiser for Children Heard and Seen

Rachel Parsley is raising money for Children Heard and Seen

Lake District Ultra Challenge 2026 · 6 June 2026 to 7 June 2026 ·

There is currently no mechanism to identify, let alone, support children when a parent goes to prison. We provide a holistic, tailored package of support, enabling children to mitigate the impacts of their parent's imprisonment - raising aspirations and breaking the cycle of intergenerational harm.

Story

This year I will be running the 100KM continuous course, Ultra Challenge in the Lake District. I would love to raise as much money and support for this charity who have supported my beautiful boys….

Children Heard and Seen

“Children with a parent in prison are at a much greater risk of experiencing mental health problems, often manifesting as depression or anxiety. Negative School experiences such as bullying. Alongside a likelihood to commit criminal offences.”

This charity works with children with a parent in prison to give them a voice. To help children reach their full potential.

My two boys have had some beautiful experiences thanks to this charity and has helped them know it was never their fault and telling the truth was always the right thing to do. xoxo
