Story
On the 7th May 2023, my best friend and husband Phill, sadly died at Queenscourt Hospice from Mesothelioma. He recieved the most amazing support right through his illness but as things changed, he spent the last 4 weeks of his life at the hospice. He was lovingly looked after by the amazing Doctors and Nurses who not only made Phill feel safe but allowed us precious time together, that wouldn't have happened if he had stayed at home.
Seeing first hand the incredible work that takes place at Queenscourt, I vowed during our time there that I would try and support the hospice as much as I could and each year do something to help out with the vital fundraising that is needed to keep it running.
So, on the 22nd June, this year's challenge is going to be a Skydive as part of their Thrive in '25 campaign and I will be jumping out of a plane at 11,000 ft!!
Any donation you can give will go straight to the hospice so that other families can be supported the way Phill and I were.
Hosted once again at the Black Knights Parachute Centre, the entire day is dedicated to supporting Queenscourt. But we need you to take the leap! The more skydivers, the bigger the difference we can make. Do something bold, take to the skies, and feel proud of the difference you'll make!
