My husband, Paul was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in November 2018. On 12th April 2026, I will be running the Brighton Marathon together with family and friends, Charlotte, Josh and Dylan, to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and in support of the fight against MND.

For all of us, this is our first marathon we have entered and has involved a lot of training runs, commitment and sore knees!

Our family knows first-hand how devastating this disease can be. Around 5,000 people in the UK are living with MND and it affects everyone who loves them. By taking on this challenge, we hope to raise both awareness and funds to support vital research, provide help and support for families affected by MND and improve care across the UK.

Every donation, big or small, really makes a difference and means so much.
